EPA Reverses Itself on Fluoride

Chemical additives always have potential side effects. As this issue continues to play out, I’m especially interested in the osteoporosis connection. Sodium flouride has been on the radar as a possible treatment for osteoporosis because it affects the size and shape of bone mineral crystals. However, because it only changes the minerals and nothing else, the newly formed bone is more brittle and susceptible to fractures. . . “In addition, other studies have found excessive ingestion of fluoride capable of increasing the risk of brittle bones leading to fractures and debilitating bone abnormalities.”
